Everybody loves to reap the fruits of hard work. By means of awards, accolades and token of appreciation, the level of self-confidence increases. There is an urge to improve and be better. And that is our goal – to improve.

At SVRR, since 1998, we have been holding annual award ceremonies in memory of its Late Vice President, Shri. Bhikubhai C.Shah. We present Cash awards to our outstanding personalities. These awards are classified into 3 categories:

  • Two Awards to Mentally Challenged Trainees who had taken training at SVRR and who are now employed or self-employed.
  • One Award to Mentally Challenged Trainee who had taken training at rural branches of SVRR and who is now employed or self-employed.
  • Two Awards to Mentally Challenged Trainees who had taken training at any other institution like SVRR and who are now employed or self-employed.

For the last 3 years, our 2 Vice Presidents have been presenting Awards to SVRR’s Sportsman Trainees and to Best teacher / Staff of SVRR in their personal capacity. Smt. Shruti Medh gives Cash Prizes in the memory of her late husband Shri Rameshbhai Medh to our Trainees, who take part in various sports organized for special children by different Organizations.

Similarly, Vice President Smt. Purnima Shah and her family members give cash Award to ‘Best Teacher / Staff’ of SVRR in the memory of her father-in-law, late Shri. Prabodhbhai Shah, who was also Vice President and Trustee of SVRR.

21 of our ex trainees have been recipients of National Awards. About 15 of our ex-trainees have received State Awards. 50 of our trainees have been recipients of NASEOH Awards. RUDMI of Ahmadabad gives every year cash awards to our trainees of rural centre to recognize their efforts. In the year 2013 SVRR received “Smt. Nandini P. Divatia Rural Rehabilitation Institutional Award” for outstanding institution working for the cause of disabled in Maharashtra.

Annually, we organize a function for the distribution of these awards, where there is entertainment for our esteemed learners as well as their parents and guardians.
